This translation is a work in progress inspired by key Biblical term alternatives gathered from various sources and Biblical scholars or pastors which are hopefully helpful or insightful to others. For instance, the name “Ascension” Bible comes from one such suggestion by James B. Jordan to render the Hebrew word `olah as “ascension” rather than “burnt offering”.

At the moment, most of the current text is borrowed from the World English Bible (WEB) which is a Public Domain modern translation of the 1909 American Standard Version. (For more information about the World English Bible, please visit WorldEnglishBible.org). Any alteration from the WEB Bible is currently indicated by bolded text. For instance, in Genesis 8:20, the word ascensions/ascension is bolded, since it is alternate rendering of “burnt offerings”.
